Escape!

Minna-sama, tadaima!

I haven't been updating this blog
for centuries. The only logical
explanation was that I must have
studied so much for the last
few weeks of last year. By last year
I mean a couple of DAYS ago.
Happy new year 2012, minna-sama!

Frankly speaking, I have a myriad
of things to tell you this moment.
Seriously! But since my mind is still
tired from the tortures of
previous weeks, I'd like to keep this
entry leisure. Certainly it doesn't mean
that I'm on vacation or anything because
I still have Radiology End Round Exam
waiting for me at the end of the week.
And that makes me suffer every week
of Special Internal Medicine.
Don't let me start on THAT story!

Muslim brotherhood

Tanta is now hot with
lots of campaigns regarding
famine in Somalia.
I mean...it is NICE to see
everybody is getting bussier
and bussier for the sake
of brotherhood. Moreover,
it colours the life of a student.

Well, yes you are a student.
But it doesn't mean that
you have to be an ignorant
other than your 'study' things.
Darou na?

Frankly, the issue of Somalia is already an old issue. Old but ongoing. But maybe I wasn't aware enough that I don't know much about it. The only thing I know is that Somalia is a very poor looking country...with battles here and there...starvation every where...extinction!

Syria - Salahuddin Ayyubi

Damascus, the capital of Republic of Syria.

It was a frosty morning.
I started my journey that day.
It was a perfect day.
The sun had splashed pink clouds
across the horizon and rivers of
silver light ran through the streets.

It was among the days
I spent in Syria.
Yes, I haven't told you a thing
about spending time in Syria yet,
you must be very confused.

No. You don't have to.

Syafakillah

Actually I want to let you know ONE thing.

Baby-Ie was admitted to hospital
just couple of days ago.
She undergo a surgery for
having acute appendicitis. Alhamdulillah
it was a successful surgery.

It happened during her last
paper of PMR. She was trying
hard to control her pain
but after 15 minutes she was
trembling with unbearable pain.
She was brought to the hospital
immediately and was given
a shot of pain killer (I guess).
After Baby was stabilized again,
she continued her battle for her
Arabic Language paper.

Eid eve

I am smiling at the memory.

It is going to be Aidilfitri soon.
By soon, I mean VERY soon.
Underage children would have been very
excited about 'Hari Raya'.
Because I used to be an INNOCENT
young girl, so I pretty much knew
how exciting it was to celebrate Hari Raya.
Eventhough, I used to not fasting
the whole month of Ramadhan that time.
Yeah, I was a little naughty!

And do you know what I was
EAGER about Hari Raya?
ANG POW!
Or it is called as 'Duit Raya' in Malaysia.

Don't laugh, darling. It is normal, for a kid.
And not for a grown-up.
Obviously because you DON'T get 'ang-pows' any more. You give.
